摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a dual fuel engine system using biogas and a control method thereof and, more specifically, to a dual fuel engine system using biogas having high thermal efficiency and operation stability and a control method thereof. The dual fuel engine system using biogas according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a dual fuel engine main body including an engine cylinder and driven by biogas and diesel fuel; a gas train unit disposed on the one side of the engine body to supply the biogas to the engine cylinder; a gas pressure regulator connected to the gas train unit to control and supply the supply quantity of the biogas; a gas-air mixture unit controlling the mixing ratio of the biogas and air flowed in from the gas train unit and mixing the biogas and the air; an air supply unit connected to a gas supply mixing unit and to flow the biogas mixed with the air in the gas-air mixture unit to the internal of the engine cylinder; and a dual fuel engine driving control part (600) controlling the supply quantity of the biogas in the gas train unit and the amount of mixing the biogas and the air in the gas-air mixture unit. According to the embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to increase the air-fuel ratio by improving the heat efficiency of the low-calorific biogas and improve economic efficiency by saving energy costs.</p>
