PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material feeder capable of quickly feeding coating material such as lubricant and the like to an injection sleeve of a die cast molding machine.SOLUTION: A nozzle unit 40 attached to an arm of a robot has: mold release agent nozzles 68, 69, 78, 79 for spraying liquid mold release agent toward an inner surface of a metal mold; and a lubricant discharge nozzle 90 for discharging pellet shaped lubricant. A controller 18 to function as control means sprays the mold release agent from the mold release agent nozzles 68, 69, 78, 79 toward the inner surface of the metal mold, when a plunger tip 27a is located at an advance position. When the spray of the mold release agent is finished, the robot makes the lubricant discharge nozzle 90 face a gate 23 of the metal mold. Subsequently, when a plunger 27 retreats from the advance position, the pellet shaped lubricant is discharged from the lubricant discharge nozzle 90 toward an injection sleeve 26, synchronizing with the retreating movement of the plunger tip 27a. |
