PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure pump capable of reducing noises and maintaining pump efficiency.SOLUTION: A valve seat member 20 of a high pressure pump for blocking a supply passage 80 and a compression chamber 100 has: an inner flow passage 22 for communicating the supply passage 80 with the compression chamber 100; and an annular outer flow passage 23 outside the inner flow passage 22 in a radial direction. An inner valve 40 can seat on or can be isolated from an inner valve seat 24 provided at an opening of the inner flow passage 22. An outer valve 50 can contact an end face on a side of the inner valve 40 opposite to the inner vale seat, and can seat on or can be isolated from an outer valve seat 25 provided at an opening of the outer flow passage 23. Thereby, even when a position of the inner valve seat 24 or a position of the outer valve seat 25 varies, oil tightness between the inner valve 40 and the inner valve seat 24 when closing the valve can be maintained, so as to maintain oil tightness between the outer vale 50 and the outer valve seat 25. |
