PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine walking of a person holding his/her own machine and to ensure safety by calling his/her attention to gazing at a screen of a monitor while walking.SOLUTION: A portable terminal including an acceleration sensor 11 detecting an acceleration of the portable terminal and a gyro sensor 12 detecting an inclination speed of the portable terminal, comprises: a horizontal acceleration calculation unit 13 calculating an acceleration of the portable terminal in a horizontal direction on the basis of a detection result of the acceleration sensor; a walking determination unit 14 determining whether a person holding the portable terminal is walking on the basis of a calculation result of the horizontal acceleration calculation unit 13 and a detection result of the gyro sensor 12; and a screen/voice controller 15 exerting a screen/voice control so as to calling user's attention to gazing at a screen on a monitor of the portable terminal if the walking determination unit 14 determines that the person is walking.
