PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase stored energy of an electric double-layer capacitor while suppressing electrostatic capacitance reduction or ESR increase caused by generation of impurity.SOLUTION: A power supply circuit 101 for supplying power charging an electric double-layer capacitor 10 to a load comprises a measurement control section 13 which measures a property (deterioration amount) relating to deterioration of the electric double-layer capacitor 10 and increases a charging voltage of the electric double-layer capacitor 10 in accordance with the deterioration amount. By increasing the charging voltage in accordance with the deterioration amount of the electric double-layer capacitor 10, while suppressing electrostatic capacitance reduction or ESR increase, energy that can be extracted from the electric double-layer capacitor, can be maintained for a long time. |
