PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair method for a heat shield coating, which can easily repair the heat shield coating having peeling and improve adhesion between a repair part of the heat shield coating and a base material.SOLUTION: A repair method for a heat shield coating includes: a heat shield coating removing step of removing a damage part of a heat shield coating 41 formed on a base material 40; a metallized layer forming step of forming a metallized layer 53 by metallizing one surface of a ceramic sheet 52; a ceramic sheet arranging step of arranging the ceramic sheet 52 on a surface of the base material 40 with the damage part removed so that the metallized layer 53 is opposed to the side of the base material 40 via a low-fusion-point metal layer 54; and a heating and melting step of heating and melting the low-fusion-point metal layer 54.
