PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition capable of forming an epoxy resin-inorganic polymer composite material having excellent curability and jointly having transparency, a high refractive index and ultraviolet light resistance.SOLUTION: Provided is a curable composition comprising the following components (A), (B): the component (A) obtained by mixing one mol of the alkoxide of the group 4 metal in the Periodic Table with at least one kind of compound selected from multivalent carboxylic acid anhydride, carboxylic acid and a coordinating compound coordinated to the group 4 metal in the Periodic Table by x mol (0.10≤x≤0.86) and reacting at least a part thereof; and (B) an alicyclic epoxy compound.
