PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for a cooking stove which can prevent a burner port from clogging due to cooking soup and the like, even when cooking soup and the like is spilt on a burner cap while cooking, and which hardly damages an appearance of the cooking stove burner and which hardly becomes obstructive for a user.SOLUTION: A burner for a cooking stove includes: a burner body 1; a burner cap 2 placed on the burner body 1 and forming a plurality of burner ports (main burner port 41) on a peripheral edge; a cover body 5 arranged above the burner cap 2 and having an outer peripheral wall 51 on an outer peripheral part of the top surface; and a discharge gutter 53 provided at a part of the outer peripheral edge part of the cover body 5 and allowing cooking soup dropped on the top surface of the cover body 5 to drop by making the outer peripheral wall 51 recessed. A protrusion body 3 is provided which protrudes outward from a position corresponding to the discharge gutter 53 on the outer periphery of the burner cap 2 and in which the top surface located below a tip part of the discharge gutter 53 becomes a cooking soup receiving part. The tip end edge of the protrusion body 3 is made to be a discharge part 31 for allowing the cooking soup dropped to the cooking soup receiving part to drop from the protrusion body 3. |
