PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer capable of lowering the sterilization temperature during the step of sterilization.SOLUTION: A treatment tank 3 accommodates an article 2 to be treated, while storing water up to a preset water level. Circulation means 8 circulates storage water in the treatment tank 3 through a circulation channel 20. Heating means 9 blows steam into the circulation channel 20 for heating the circulation water. Control means controls the heating means 9 such that preset temperature inside the treatment tank 3 is maintained for heat sterilization of the article 2 to be treated. During sterilization, water feed means 4 and water discharge means 5 are controlled to gradually replace storage water in the treatment tank 3, so that the preset temperature can be lowered. |
