摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that calibrates offset occurring due to drift without requiring a user to execute explicit offset calibration.SOLUTION: A visual line measuring device 1A comprises: multiple electrodes 2 to be attached on a face; an amplifier 3 that amplifies each electric potential measured by the electrodes 2; and a computer 4 that uses a variation in output from the amplifier 3 as of time t1 and time t2 and a predetermined non-linear function to estimate a visual line angle of a user. The visual line measuring device also comprises a saccade detection mechanism 5 for detecting occurrence of saccade on the basis of the output from the amplifier 3, and when the saccade detection mechanism 5 detects the saccade, the computer 4 may use the variation in the output from the amplifier 3 immediately before and after the saccade and the predetermined non-linear function to estimate the visual line angles of the user immediately before and after the saccade.
