PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of saving time for enlarged display while suppressing image deterioration occurring when the enlarged display is performed.SOLUTION: When storing an original image, a preview image is created by reducing the original image and the created preview image and the original image are associated and stored. In the case of enlarged display of the preview image while the preview image is displayed for preview, if a magnification factor is smaller than a predetermined value, an image to be enlarged and displayed is created from the preview image and displayed on a display unit. On the other hand, if the magnification factor is not smaller than the predetermined value, the image to be enlarged and displayed is created from the original image and displayed on the display unit. |
