PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery device with an autonomous safeguard function for autonomously stopping recriticality without requiring any external signal input or power supply, etc.SOLUTION: A recovery device has a container body 11 arranged above or inside a water reservoir 2 so that at least its bottom is submerged in water stored in the water reservoir, a bottom plate 13 provided at the bottom of the container body, and a fixing member 17 for fixing the bottom plate to the container body. The bottom plate is provided with a plurality of small hols 15 that, if water mixed with debris 6 of nuclear fuel material flows into the container body, pass the water but not the debris of nuclear fuel material equal to or larger than a certain size in the mixed water so that the debris of nuclear fuel material is accumulated on the bottom plate. The fixing member is formed of a shape-memory alloy that deforms with temperature so that, if the debris of nuclear fuel material accumulated on the bottom plate generates heat, the fixing member deforms due to the heat of the debris of nuclear fuel material to release fixing of he bottom plate. |
