PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cementless type artificial joint having dynamic properties similar to those of a bone.SOLUTION: A stem 1 for a cementless type artificial hip joint inserted into a bored hole 13 formed in a thighbone 12 that generates binding power with the thighbone 12 by bone in-growth includes: a metal skeleton part 2 having a porous structure that binds to the thighbone 12; and a resin part 3 made of thermoplastic resin into which the skeleton part 2 is embedded with part of the skeleton part 2 exposed on the surface.
