PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of providing steering feeling same as before an electric power steering becomes defective even when such defective occurs.SOLUTION: A power steering device 11 includes: an EPS 12; and an HPS 13. In normal time, assist power required to a steering system is calculated based on a steering torque τ and vehicle speed V, and the required assist power is generated by the EPS 12 and the HPS 13 in sharing. Torsional rigidity of a torsion bar of the HPS 13 is almost same level as that of a torsion bar 21a of the EPS 12. Therefore, even when the EPS 12 becomes defective, steering feeling same as when the EPS 12 is normal can be obtained. |
