<p>The present invention provides an automatic welding apparatus to connect cylindrical bodies such as a pipe with each other. According to the present invention, the welding apparatus comprises: a sliding block (20) installed to be linearly reciprocated on a certain section on a bed (10); a pipe transferring means (12) installed in the sliding block to transfer a pipe (P) in a certain section by clamping the pipe (P); a flange chuck (18) installed in the bed to rotate a flange (F) by clamping the flange (F) rotated by a stepping motor; a pipe rotating means (16) mounted on the flange chuck (18), clamping the pipe, and rotating the clamped pipe with the flange chuck (18); and a pipe supporting means (11 or 14) to support the pipe rotated by being clamped by the pipe rotating means. The pipe supporting means is capable of welding a connection part while the pipe and the flange are synchronized, and rotated by the flange chuck (18) and the pipe rotating means when the end of the pipe is close to the flange with a regular gap, and the pipe clamping the pipe transferring means released.</p> |
