The present invention relates to an image decoding method. The image decoding method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: acquiring a prediction mode information of a current block from a bit-stream; determining whether to filter the pixels adjacent to the current block based on the acquired prediction mode information; and conducting an inter-prediction operation using one of the original adjacent pixels or of the filtered adjacent pixels according to the determination result.
