PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device in which a stationary contact point, a movable contact point and a switching member are housed in two housing chambers, sealability of the housing chambers can be improved, and a switching load can be reduced.SOLUTION: A recess 16b is formed on an inner wall 13b partitioning a housing chamber S2 in a case 11, and a through part 65 extending in a rightward and leftward direction (Y-direction) is formed between the recess 16b and an inner holding piece 61 of a lid body. A shaft body 41 of a switching member 40b is housed in the through part 65. When a force in a lateral direction (&bgr;2-direction) is given to an operation part integrated with the shaft body 41, the switching member 40b moves in the lateral direction and rotates around the shaft body 41 as a fulcrum. A movable contact point 35 is inclined in a clockwise direction by a driving part 42a. |
