PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing a solar cell output cable to a connection box with high water-tightness and at a low cost, and a fixing method.SOLUTION: In a fixing structure of a solar cell output cable, a distal end portion of a solar cell output cable which is peeled over two stages is covered with an elastic cylindrical bush so as to cover an outer side face of an exposed insulation coating body. A connection box includes an outer wall bored with an introduction hole for inserting the distal end portion of the solar cell output cable and an inner wall opposing the outer wall. The inner wall includes a through hole to pass the bush covering the insulation coating body. Narrowed portions are provided within the through hole of the inner wall, and the solar cell output cable is inserted into the connection box until an outer side face of the bush covering the insulation coating body is held between the narrowed portions. Between the outer wall and the inner wall, the solar cell output cable is fixed by a fixture so as to be prevented from moving relatively to the connection box. |
