PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld wire feeder 21 which can reduce the man hour of the insertion work of a weld wire 16.SOLUTION: The weld wire feeder 21 of this invention has a feeding roll 6a driven by a motor 7 and a pressure roll 9a that feeds a weld wire 16 by clamping it along with the feeding roll 6a, where the feeding roll 6a is supported by a lower feeding part body 23 so as to be rotatable, and the pressure roll 9a is supported by an upper feeding part body 24 so as to be rotatable, so that the pressure handle 26 presses the upper feeding part body 24 to press the pressure roll 9a on the feeding roll 6a. The lower end part of the upper feeding part body 24 is supported by the upper end part of the lower feeding part body 23 so as to be rotatable. As the result, the workability of preparation before welding can be remarkably improved, thereby enabling the man hour to be reduced.
