<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reliably prevent entry of liquid from between a one-way clutch assembly and a reel body of a spinning reel.SOLUTION: A reverse rotation preventing mechanism 50 for inhibiting rotation in the line delivery direction of a rotor 3 includes a one-way clutch assembly 51, a cover member 52, a first sealing member 53 and a second sealing member 54. The one-way clutch assembly 51 is removably mounted to a mounting part 2e of the reel body 2. The cover member 52 is made of a rigid body having a ring-shaped bottom 64a covering the front surface of the one-way clutch assembly 51, and a cylindrical part 64b integrally formed on an outer circumference part of the bottom 64a and covering an outer circumference part 51a of the one-way clutch assembly 51 and an outer circumference part of the mounting part 2e. The first sealing member 53 seals a gap between the mounting part 2e and the cylindrical part 64b. The second sealing member 54 seals a gap between a mounting part 33a of the rotor 3 and the bottom 64a of the cover member 52.</p> |
