PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a planar waveguide laser device capable of achieving a stable operation.SOLUTION: Laser beam high-reflection films 13, 14 are formed on a pair of end faces 4, 5 of a planar waveguide-shaped laser medium 3, and a laser beam 8 is reflected by the laser beam high-reflection films 13, 14 to be propagated in a zigzag. A planar waveguide laser device includes a side face 6 orthogonal to at least one of the pair of end faces 4, 5 of the laser medium 3, and the laser beam 8 is reflected by an apex part formed of the end face 4 or the end face 5 with the side face 6. |
