The present invention relates to an active headrest for a vehicle which bursts a cushion toward the front by operating an elastic body prepared in a back panel through the explosion of an inflator. The active headrest for a vehicle comprises an inflator which is embedded in a back panel, and includes a sealed housing, an explosive part inside the housing, a piston formed on the top of the explosive part, and a pressing pin formed on the top end of the piston, wherein the pressing pin cuts and penetrates the top surface of the housing according to the rise of the piston when the explosive part is exploded; a latch link which restricts the elastic body; and a connection link which is rotated by the pressing pin penetrating the top surface of the housing and is connected to the latch link to release the restriction of the elastic body. |
