PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support device which does not require an active accelerator operation by means of a driver and smoothly arrives at a preset target car speed in a vehicle provided with such function as to control the magnitude of reaction force to be applied to an accelerator pedal.SOLUTION: A drive support device of a vehicle includes an actuator 2b which supports such an operation as to make an actual accelerator opening degree A close to a target accelerator opening degree Aby controlling the magnitude of a reaction force F to be applied to an acceleration pedal. The drive support device of the vehicle includes: target car speed setting means 11 which sets a target car speed Vas a target value of the car speed; final target accelerator opening degree gain means 12 which gains an accelerator opening degree corresponding to the target car speed Vset by the target car speed setting means 11 as a final target accelerator opening degree A; and target accelerator opening degree setting means 13 which sets the target accelerator opening degree Awhile being changed so as to make the target accelerator opening degree gradually close to the final target accelerator opening degree Agained by the final target accelerator opening degree gain means 12 from the actual accelerator opening degree A at the time point when the target car speed Vis set. |
