PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control device that is able to perform a discharging process without installing an additional circuit in the event of collision.SOLUTION: A power source control device comprises: a plurality of battery cells 11 mounted in a vehicle and connected in series; a balancer circuit 15 provided in at least two of the battery cells and configured to discharge the battery cells; a control section (CMU 12) configured such that if differences in voltage between the battery cells arise, a switching element provided in the balancer circuit is on/off controlled so that the voltages of the cells are the same; and input detecting means (acceleration sensor 6) configured to detect input in the event of collision of a vehicle. In the power source control device, upon detection of the collision of a vehicle, the control section on/off controls the switching element, provided in the balancer circuit, so as to discharge each battery cell. |
