PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables easy production of a wire harness having trunk lines and a plurality of branch lines branched from the trunk line and accurate definition of branch parts where the branch lines are branched.SOLUTION: A method of producing a wire harness 30 having trunk lines 32 and 33 and branch lines 34A to 34E includes a step of preparing a plurality of unit electric wire bundles 10, a step of arranging common cylindrical branch-line restriction members 20 around the end parts of the unit electric wire bundles constituting common branch lines 34A to 34D, among end parts of the individual unit electric wire bundles 10, a step of bundling the unit electric wire bundles 10 to form a trunk line and a step of defining branch parts 35 and 36 by moving the individual restriction members 20 from the end parts of the unit electric wire bundles 10 to the trunk lines 32 and 33.
