<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an information processing method, and a program capable of appropriately registering in a database, medium information on the characteristics of a print medium used for printing by a printer.SOLUTION: In an information processing method, medium information is registered in either a first database which is capable of storing medium information and requires administrator authority for use of the medium information, or a second database which is capable of storing medium information and allows a user to use the medium information even without the administrator authority corresponding to the first database, on the basis of a result of whether or not the administrator authority is set for use of the medium information, which is determined according to a user's instruction.</p> |
