<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slipper that can assist stable walk and that is therefore suitable for a person having weak muscle power.SOLUTION: The slipper 1 comprises: a sole part 50; an upper 10 which has an open toe and rises from the periphery of the sole part and which covers the inner/outer side faces and the heel of a foot; a long counter 20 which is U-shaped along the heel and which has a length having the inside tip end reaching the middle of the first metatarsal bone 71 and having the outside tip end reaching the middle of the fifth metatarsal bone 72; a first belt 31 which extends from near the tip end of the inside of the long counter to the outer ankle with the heel side as the base end and which pulls up the long counter as well as supporting the ankle during walking; a second belt 32 which extends from near the tip end of the inside of the long counter to the fifth metatarsal bone with the toe side as the base end and which pulls up the long counter as well as covering the central part of the instep; and the third belt 33 which extends from the base end of the second belt along the MP joint with the toe side as the base end and which supports the lateral arch.</p> |
