<p>The present invention relates to a growth record database system comprising: a distance measuring remote control to set a measured distance as zero, to detect acceleration according to movement by using a built-in acceleration sensor when a user raises the same from the floor to the overhead, to measure the actual moving distance by using the detected acceleration and time, and to transmit the measured distance in a short distance communication method; and a smart terminal to receive the distance from the distance measuring remote control, and to generate the target people number growing database by the target people number by storing the received distance by the target people number inputted by a user with the current date. The present invention has an effect of conveniently and accurately measuring the height of children by using a remote control to measure the height through the reflection time using a wireless signal or a moving distance using an acceleration sensor. The present invention has an effect of conveniently measuring the distance to measure not only the height of children by using the remote control but also the distance by substituting a tapeline. A display module of a remote control is capable of not measuring the distance and height measured by the remote control only in the specific point, but displaying the remote control in real time while moving.
