The present invention relates to an LED lighting device, and more specifically, to an LED lighting device illuminating an area using LED devices, and a sensor module used for the LED lighting device. The LED lighting device comprises: a main body unit (100) with an opening at the bottom; a substrate (111) installed at the opening of the main body unit (100) and including a plurality of LED devices (101) mounted thereon; and a first terminal connection unit (310) for coupling with a sensing module (400). The sensing module of the LED lighting device is coupled to a side of the main body unit (100), and includes a sensing unit (431) sensing at least one among a motion and brightness, and a first terminal unit (210) protruding outwards and delivering a control signal to control driving of the LED devices (101) according to sensing signals by the sensing unit (431), wherein the first terminal unit (210) is inserted into the first terminal connection unit (310) and electrically connected to the first terminal connection unit (310) so as to deliver the control signal to the LED devices (101).
