The invention relates to a domestic appliance, in particular a cooking appliance, having an operator control arrangement (10, 12, 14, 16) with at least one touch-sensitive control strip (10, 18) for setting a control variable in a first operator control mode as a function of a position of contact on the control strip (10, 18). According to the invention, in order to simplify operator control of the control strip (10, 18), at least one selector switch (12, 14) for changing over from the first operator control mode to at least one second operator control mode is associated with the control strip. Therefore, the control strip (10, 18) advantageously serves only to set the control variable, but not to set an operator control mode. |
