<p>The present invention relates to slip detection method and device in a metal belt type continuously variable transmission, and it is an object of the present invention to provide slip detection method and device in a metal belt type continuously variable transmission, which can estimate a slip state of the continuously variable transmission just using a pulley rotation speed sensor without adding other sensors. The slip detection method includes the steps of: detecting acceleration of a driving pulley, acceleration of a driven pulley, rotation speed of the driven pulley and CVT speed ratio; receiving the acceleration of the driving pulley, the acceleration of the driven pulley, the rotation speed of the driven pulley and the CVT speed ratio which were detected and generating first and second observation signals; calculating an amplitude difference rate from amplitudes of the first and second observation signals; and comparing the calculated amplitude difference rate with a predetermined threshold value to determine a slip section.</p> |
