<p>The method involves removing a material from upstream of holes (20-1, 20-2) formed in arms (18-1, 18-2) of a yoke (18) of a metal end fitting (14) so as to form a slot in oblong shape in longitudinal median axis of each arm. Additional openings formed upstream from the hole and downstream from the slot are formed in addition to the slot. The openings located between the hole and the slot are positioned in offset manner relative to the longitudinal median axis of the arm and on both sides of the axis. An independent claim is also included for a metallic end fitting of an aeronautical connecting rod attached to a body.</p> |
