<p>The present invention relates to a vehicle battery safety device and a malfunctioning detection method for the same. According to the present invention, every malfunctioning mode of a battery system main relay (SMR) connected to a high-voltage battery terminal of a vehicle can be detected when a main relay power is turned on. According to the present invention, the vehicle battery safety device disposed between a vehicular high-voltage battery and a power line includes: a first main relay serially connected to a positive side of the battery; a second main relay serially connected to a negative side of the battery; and a capacitor connected in parallel to the first main relay and connected to the positive side of the battery.</p> |
