<p>A method for making camote ((Ipomoea batatas) tops ice cream comprising the steps of: blending a chopped camote tops with a 20 pcnt coconut milk for 5-8 minutes, straining said camote tops mixture with a strainer, mixing a cornstarch, a gelatin powder, a douner, the remaining coconut milk and said camote tops mixture using a mixer until foamy, straining said mixture using a strainer, pasteurizing said strained mixture with a chopped pandan leaves by boiling at 1 00�C for 30 minutes, straining said boiled mixture using a strainer, adding a food color to said boiled mixture, cooling said boiled mixture at room temperature, for 4 hours, pouring said cooled mixture in an aluminum bowl, stirring said cooled mixture in an aluminum bowl over a salted crushed ice until sticky, pouring said cooled in an ice cream container, and freezing the sticky cooled mixture in a freezer at -30�C to -40�C for 24 hours.</p> |
