The present invention relates to a bilateral signboard using an edge-type surface light source, which comprises: a light guide plate made of a light-transmitting material, and having a light-diffusing pattern integrally formed on the entire upper surface and lower surface; a light source placed on the side of the light guide plate; a first light-diffusing layer placed on the upper surface of the light guide plate; a first background layer placed on the upper surface of the first light-diffusing layer; a first image layer placed on the upper surface of the first background layer; a second light-diffusing layer placed on the lower surface of the light guide plate; a second background layer placed on the upper surface of the second light-diffusing layer; a second image layer placed on the upper surface of the second background layer; an inner cover to hold a circuit board equipped with the light source at the side of the light guide plate; and a holding frame to hold the first light-diffusing layer, first background layer, and first image layer placed on the upper surface of the light guide plate, and the second light-diffusing layer, second background layer, and second image layer placed on the lower surface of the light guide plate, at the side of the light guide plate. Compared to an existing bilateral lighting-type signboard, the present invention can reduce the thickness of a product, and increase brightness and luminous efficiency. |
