Provided is a stationary portion sealing structure which divides spaces with different pressures by a partition to suppress steam leakage even with respect to a misalignment in position in an axial and radial directions. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a stationary portion sealing structure includes: an insertion groove formed on a wall surface of an outer casing in a circumferential direction in the shape of a ring having protruding portions respectively protruding from both side surfaces of a groove portion to narrow the groove portion, and an opening portion of the groove portion; an insertion groove formed on a wall surface facing an insertion groove of an inner casing in the circumferential direction in the shape of a ring having protruding portions respectively protruding from both side surfaces of the groove portion to narrow the groove portion and the opening portion of the groove portion; and a flat ring-shaped seal member having an outer circumferential end portion and an inner circumferential end portion respectively inserted into the insertion grooves. The seal member is pushed and attached to the protruding portions by the differences in pressure of the spaces divided by the partition. |
