PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, a control method therefor, and a program that are capable of obtaining image data in accordance with lens characteristics and sensor characteristics of another imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 acquires emulation information for determining a photographing condition and converting image data, performs photographing under a photographing condition determined by the acquired emulation information, and converts image data obtained by the photographing using the emulation information.
