<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a scene sequence with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus which generates a scene sequence from a video image includes: sampling acquisition means which samples a predetermined frame image from a sample video image; block feature information generation means which divides frame images obtained by the sampling acquisition means for each one or multiple scales to generate feature information for each divided block image; shot division means which divides a video image to be processed for generating a scene sequence for each shot; histogram generation means which generates a histogram based on an appearance ratio of the block image, in association with the block image obtained by the block feature information generation means, for each shot divided by the shot division means; and scene sequence generation means which generates a scene sequence for the video image to be processed, by use of the histogram generated by the histogram generation means.</p> |
