Disclosed is a blue-phase liquid crystal composite material and a liquid crystal display comprising same, which can solve the problem of small Kerr coefficient of the existing blue-phase liquid crystal material and existing liquid crystal display comprising same. The blue-phase liquid crystal composite material of this disclosure is formed from raw material components through photo-polymerisation, wherein the raw material components comprise a parent blue-phase liquid crystal, a benzyne substance, a chiral compound, a photo-polymerisable monomer, and a photo-initiator. The blue-phase liquid crystal composite material of this disclosure has the advantages of large Kerr coefficient, low voltage, high contrast, high response speed to electric field, and good stability. |
