[Problem] To obtain an organic photoelectric conversion element which is suited to mass production, and which is not susceptible to deterioration caused by solder reflow. [Solution] An organic photoelectric conversion element comprising a substrate (2), a plurality of pixel electrodes (4) positioned on the substrate (2) with a distance between one another, an organic film (7) containing a photoelectric conversion layer and positioned in a continuous film form on and between the plurality of pixel electrodes (4), a common electrode (8) positioned on the organic film (7), and a protective film (10) positioned on the common electrode (8), wherein the difference in height between the upper surface of the pixel electrode (4) and the substrate (2) falls within the range of 3nm to 100nm, the angle of inclination of the end of the pixel electrode (4) falls within the range of 10° to 90°, the internal stress of the protective film (10) is set to fall within the range of -600MPa to less than -200MPa, and the product of the film thickness of the protective film (10) and internal stress is set to fall within the range of -40,000MPa x nm to less than -14,000MPA x nm. |
