A method for filtering, by each of multiple processing elements, pixel blocks of multiple split screens for one frame image includes: validating, by each processing element, whether a pixel block of a relevant split screen is a first boundary pixel block adjacent to a boundary between split screens; determining a filtering area for the first boundary pixel block based on the state of a second pixel block adjacent to the boundary between split screens among pixel blocks of another split screen adjacent to the first pixel block; and filtering the filtering area for the first boundary pixel block.
