PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embed a marker used in converting an image and video subjected to projection transformation into the original image and video into the image and video without impairing the design of contents.SOLUTION: A marker detection device includes: an image input unit that receives the input of one or a plurality of consecutive images; a marker superposition unit that superposes, with respect to a color component in which an image is difficult to be perceived, at least four markers having a contrast pattern common to four places on a straight line having a concentric circular fringe pattern of the contrast of the color component and passing through the center of the concentric circle, at positions where the distance between the central points is a predetermined compound ratio along a first side defining a rectangular area on the images, and superposes at least four other markers at positions on a straight line where the distance between the central points is a predetermined compound ratio along a second side defining a rectangular area; an identification code superposition unit that superposes an identification code between the markers superposed along the first and second sides with respect to the color component of the images; and an image output unit that outputs an image in which the markers, first identification code, and second identification code are superposed on the color component. |
