PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of acquiring a piece of information for recognizing an apparatus on a network through normal communication with a user.SOLUTION: The information processor includes: a reception section that receives a response from a user to an inquiry output from one or plural apparatuses which are uniquely identified on the network; and an apparatus recognition section that recognizes whether the user specifies the apparatus or not by comparing a correct response to the inquiry and the response.
