PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending machine capable of changing the direction of a curve without turning over a die and a counter-die.SOLUTION: A bending machine of die and counter-die type for bending a slender piece P clockwise and counter-clockwise has a roller-shaped die 1 provided with a partial circumferential groove 2 which is cut-off by two edge parts. Therein, the die 1 is driven by a shaft of a motor, a pair of counter-dies 25, 26 are respectively supported by counter-die support members 19, 20 rotated on a turret 11, and the turret 11 is attached to a slide so as to be rotatable in a prescribed rotation arc shape around a shaft perpendicular to the slide by a lever 12. The die 1 has retention means 3, 4 of slender piece on each of the two edge parts of the partial circumferential groove 2. The first counter-die 25 or the second counter-die 26 can be selected so as to be collaborated with the die 1 when bending the slender piece P in accordance with the clockwise or counter-clockwise desired curve. |
