PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefin polymerization catalyst including a transition metal compound, having heat resistance even at high temperature, having high polymerization activity in olefin, and excellent in copolymerization properties at performing copolymerization, and a manufacturing method of olefin polymer under presence of the catalyst.SOLUTION: A transition metal compound is expressed by a general formula (I) below. An olefin polymerization catalyst includes the transition metal compound, and preferably includes at least one type of compound selected from a group consisting of an organometallic compound, an organoaluminum oxy compound, and a compound that reacts with the transition metal compound to form an ion pair. |
