<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having sleep function, while improving power consumption reduction efficiency.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: first acquisition means which acquires estimated processing time information on processing time required for an image forming apparatus which performs communication over a network to process a print job; second acquisition means which acquires moving time information on moving time required for a user who issues an instruction to execute the print job to move to the image forming apparatus; third acquisition means which acquires recovery time information on recovery time required for the image forming apparatus to recover from a power-saving mode to a normal mode; changing means which changes the timing to transmit the print job to the image forming apparatus on the basis of the estimated processing time information acquired by the first acquisition means, the moving time information acquired by the second acquisition means, and the recovery time information acquired by the third acquisition means when the image forming apparatus is in the power-saving mode.</p> |
