<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure having functional particles rigidly carried by a porous substrate, capable of avoiding a significant change in an average pore diameter of the porous substrate even after the functional particles are carried, and capable of efficiently exhibiting a function of the functional particles.SOLUTION: The functional structure comprises a hydrophilized porous resin base material carrying functional particles that have been adhesion-treated by at least one compound selected from a group consisting of a silane coupling agent, a titanate coupling agent and an aluminate coupling agent. When a photocatalyst is used as the functional particles, an active surface thereof is prevented from being buried, and the functional structure exhibits high antimicrobial activity and gas decomposition ability.</p> |
