PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability on an elevator by remotely monitoring the elevator, regardless of whether the elevator is mounted with communication functions or not.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring support device 120 is configured to generate notification information including information about a state of an elevator 101 on the basis of a signal outputted from an operation panel 102a of an elevator car 102 to a control substrate 110 of the elevator 101 and a signal outputted from the control substrate 110 to the operation panel 102a of the control substrate 110; and transmit the generated notification information to a management server computer 130. The transmission of the notification information based on the inputted and outputted signals between the operation panel 102a of the elevator car 102 and the control substrate 110 of the elevator 101 to the management server computer 130 allows not only the elevator 101 mounted with functions of communicating with an external device but also the elevator 101 without the functions to be remotely monitored.
