A device for measuring stray light from a measurement volume, with compensation of background signals, comprising: at least one light sensor (1) comprising at least two separately evaluable light-sensitive elements (1a, 1b), a single imaging optical system (2), wherein the light-sensitive elements (1a, 1b) are arranged in the image plane and the measurement volume is arranged in the corresponding object plane of the optical system (2), wherein the visual ranges of the light-sensitive elements (1a, 1b) are completely separated from one another in the object plane and overlap one another behind the object plane, a light transmitter (7) with a collimated light beam (8), which intersects only, or at least to a greater extent, the visual range of the one light-sensitive element (1b) in a region (3b) extending through the object plane and delimiting the measurement volume such that this light-sensitive element (1b) detects stray light from the measurement volume and background light from the overlapping visual ranges behind the object plane and the other light-sensitive element (1a) detects no, or significantly less, stray light from the measurement volume and background light from the overlapping visual ranges behind the object plane, and a stop (6) arranged between the optical system (2) and the light-sensitive elements (1a, 1b), which stop restricts the visual ranges of the light-sensitive elements (1a, 1b) behind the object plane in such a way that the regions of the two visual ranges not overlapping one another are partly or completely masked. |
