The present invention relates to an LED assembly for a street light, which is provided in the inside of the head of a street light and has LED elements for emitting light and, more specifically, to an LED assembly for a streetlight, wherein, without replacing the entire head of a street light in which an LED assembly having LED elements is provided, after a bulb is removed from a power socket member in the head of an existing street light which has been already installed, a base member which supplies power to the LED elements can be fitted and screwed into the power socket member and a case which is provided with an LED light emitting member having LED elements can be fitted and provided in the power socket member by a coupling means. Further, the present invention can obtain the effects of: securing high intensity of luminance from the light emitted towards the ground surface by providing a plurality of the LED light emitting members having the LED elements on a top plate facing the ground surface; and preventing the loss of manpower and economic losses required for replacing the entire head of the street light by enabling the LED assembly to be replaced after replacing only the bulb from the head of the street light which has already been mounted on a post. |
